This month saw the launch of an exciting new nozzle design to the Mustang Nozzle range, the SpinFX Descaling Nozzle! Researched, developed and manufactured right here in Australia, the SpinFX is the latest innovation in nozzle technology that will be a welcomed addition to every plumber’s jetting arsenal.
After years of painstaking research and testing, the team at Mustang Nozzles has developed a nozzle unlike any currently on the market. Designed with two hardened, high-tensile steel chains, the rotating head generates incredible spin from the two rear jets. The SpinFX’s ability to effectively clear away decades-old built-on rust and other debris inside a pipe is unmatched.
Unlike existing descaling nozzles that use a connected cable to generate rotation, SpinFX uses a water-bearing mechanism to ensure maximum rotation speed and create an effective method to descale even the most stubborn pipes.
The other advantage of using water in the nozzle mechanism is that it creates a natural flushing effect, allowing the pipe to be cleared as you descale, decreasing the chances of the nozzle being tangled in roots or debris. Using the SpinFX to descale your pipes will save you time!
Available in two thread types, BSP and NPT, and a Quick Connect (QC) option, SpinFX will work with your preferred hose connections. The standard SpinFX nozzle comes with a three-link chain that effectively descales any pipe from 3” to 4” in diameter. Longer chain lengths are available to cater for pipes up to 6”, and these can be ordered on request from The Jetters Edge team.
The high-tensile steel chains are hardened to 580HV, giving you confidence that your chains will last and be up to the most rugged tests. The stainless steel chains are also manufactured under ISO 3077:2001 Standards for short chain-link production. The SpinFX has two locking screws that keep the chains in place; this also allows the chains to be removed and replaced if needed.
What our customers are saying…
Matt Fyffe from Just Plumb in Melbourne has started using the SpinFX and is impressed!
“We encountered some deteriorating cast iron drains, and after speaking with the team at The Jetters Edge, they recommended the new SpinFX nozzle.
It worked a treat down the main runs, pulling out buckets of rust and debris we had removed from the walls of the drains. I highly recommend the SpinFX nozzle if you need to recondition cast iron drains.”
Check out Matt’s video footage his results using SpinFX!
Our first batch of SpinFX Descaling Nozzles has already sold out due to high demand, but new stock is already on the way. This is going to be one of our most popular nozzles very soon!
